Why am I so obsessed?

Hey fashion lovers!
Just doing a fun new tag-style post on things I am currently obsessed with- trends, products, etc.!
So lets get started!

So why am I so obsessed with?...

Makeup: Covergirl lashblast fusion!
Clothing: Baggy (but chic) shirts with short jean shorts
Jewelry: My blue starfish Swarovski necklace that totally brings out my eyes
Accesories: A tie between my new slouchy chestnut leather bag or my white Michael Kors watch
Shoe: Gladiators with colorful beading!
Hair product: My Tresemme dry shampoo or my tresemme heat protector that smells like pure goodness.
Beauty appliance: Straightener... i'm so boring
Nail Polish: "An affair in red square" by OPI

Random obsessions:
Food: Annies Mac and Cheese- sooo good
Color: Light pinkish/cream or dark red
Technology: Computer, cell phone, iPod touch... i love them all so much.

Saturday loves!

Hey fashion lovers!
Today I am absolutely loving this flowy top from American Eagle Outfitters! It is definitely one of my summer must-have faves!!

It kinda looks like this one from American Eagle- but unfortunately I cannot find the exact picture since I got it in the spring :(

I paired this flowing shirt with some cutoff short-shorts (also from AEO)

This outfit is completely going-out ready. Great for a concert, day trip, or even a lunch with the girls!

Anyways- Since the shirt is blinged out on the top- all I am wearing for jewelry is some pearl studs. 

Light on the makeup! Which is also very relaxed for a saturday afternoon lunch with the girls or something.

Thursday favess!

Hey fellow fashionistas!

Today I am absolutely loving my new Michael Kors WHITE watch! It is completely bringing out my tan arms like I expected it to and it matches almost any outfit for the month of august!

I'm going for a very dark look today-- black with a touch of gold. My shirt I got at Marshalls a couple of months ago! Its brown with a black and gold beaded top to it. So pretty! I'll try to find a picture and insert it here!

I matched that top with black short shorts. Basically this whole look says "hello, its summer, i am tan"

My makeup is black mascara with a goldy-bronze smokey eye. :)

Personal Style: a peek in my closet

With lots of florals, baggy accessories, browns, nautical stripes, and lace mixed pastel pinks, I am in heaven with my summer wardrobe. A lot of the runway looks this season are very wearable, especially for my age group (15-21). The bohemian look was first seen on the runway in what I remember to be the Vivienne Westwood summer 2010 line (shown above) but a lot of other designers have been following that trend as well.

I love this bohemian dress i found online at pink ice! Sooooo cute for back to school, work, or just going shopping!! It totally captures the essence of the beachy, bohemian, baggy summer ten look.

On the subject of nautical, beachy, navy stripes... the summer line at express fufilled that gap in my collection of clothes. Check it out-- these in white mixed with this top is a great lightweight look the hot month of august to come!

I haven't really caught on to the military look of the summer yet. But if I was to buy something I would definitely go for a good staple military-esque jacket. Like this super fun girly one from forever 21!!
